The Sweep

Heel-down retains useful body without becoming excessively dark, muffled, or indistinct.

As the treadle moves forward, the pedal develops a pronounced vocal quality with a focused midrange resonance and clearly audible vowel transition. Small treadle movements create immediately recognizable changes in the voice of the pedal.

Toward the upper end, the wah develops considerably more projection and bite while retaining the shape and body of the underlying note.
